NEW ZEALAND FARMERS’ UNION

Sir, —There are one or two points dealt with by Mr. W. B. Matheson in his. last letter with which I am sorry I can’t agree. How a member, although he may enter the House as an Independent, can hope to carry on without touching on party politics I fail to see. I have always found that in order to make a success of any one thing one must concentrate upon it. Therefore, I should be very sorry to see the executive of the Farmers’ Union in Parliament trying to carry on two jobs, and doing justice to neither. However, I have said all I intend to in regard to this matter. —I am, G.’*F. MOORE. Bushy Park, June 7.
