Before Mr. Paterson, S.M., Thomas Clark, a Maori, was fined £lO, in default fourteen days’ imprisonment, and his license was cancelled for two years. <ln a charge of being intoxicated while in charge of a motor-cycle. The defendant was riding on the Whaka Road. The inspector’s speedometer registered 70 miles per hour in overhauling him.
