RUGBY LEAGUE
ANOTHER TEAM FORMED. A meeting of employees of Messrs. Hansford and Mills was held in the Wellington Centre rooms, when it was decided to form a Rugby League team to enter the, league. Mr. W. Martin was appointed to the chair. Mr. Mills was elected president, and Mr. Goodbehere was appointed chairman. The following were elected vice-presidents: Messrs. G. Smith. J. Wilson, J. Phillips, R. Parsons, P. Wotherspoon, H. Elliot, and Mr. Clark. Mr. J. Wilson, jun., was appointed to the position of secretarytreasurer ; Mr. S. Lawton was appointed delegate to the centre; Messrs. Wild. Lockwo_pd. and Lawton were appointed to the management committee.
