On March 16 and 18, special return tickets to Trentham, including Admission to Racecourse, and available for day of issue only, ■will be obtainable at Wellington (Lambton), Kaiwarra, Ngahauranga, Petone, and Lower Hutt. Fares—Carriages 6s. 6d., seated wagons 4s. 6d. These tickets will also be obtainable by race patrons on morning trains (Manawatu line) on each race day. Race tickets to Trentham will be issued at Wellington by all . trains from 8.47 a.m. until 12.15 p.m. each day, and 1.20 p.m. on Saturday. Special race trains take passengers for and' from Trentham only, and only r.i<e tickets will be available by these trains. PALMERSTON NORTH-TRENTHAM RACE CONNECTION. On March 16 and 18, train leaving Palmerston 6.58 a.m.. Shannon 7.44, Levin 8.11, Otaki 8.41, Paekakariki 9.44, arrives Wellington (Thorndon) 11.17 a.m., in time to permit passengers to join the 11.26 a.m. Wellington (Lambton)-Tren-tham race special. Train leaving Tren- . tham 5.14 p.m. on March 16 arrives Lambton 5.58 p.m., permitting passengers to .catch train leaving Thorndon '6.7 p.m. for Palmerston North. Train leaving Trentham 4.33 p.m. on March 18 arrives Lambton 5.31 p.m., permitting passengers to catch the 5.40 p.m. Thorn-don-Palmerstpn North train. ' On March 16 usual 5.40 p.m. train from Thorndon will be delayed until 6.7 p.m. for Palmerston North, and will NOT take passengers for Ngaio, Khandallah, or Johnsonville. Special train leaves Wellington 5.40 p.m. for Johnsonville. Stops where required. x WELLINGTON-TRENTHAM. Special race trains for Trentham leave Wellington:— / • March 16 —At frequent intervals from 10.0 a.m. to 10.57 a.m. and at 11.26 a.m., with ordinary trains 11.50 a.m., 12.15 and 1.20 p.m. March 18 —At frequent intervals from 10.10 a.m. to 10.40 a.m.. and at 11.26 a.m., with additional ordinary train at 12.15 p.m. For times from suburban stations see handbill. The platform at Lambton Station will be cleared immediately after departure of each race train. Passengers obtaining admission to the platform must travel by first train after they enter station. The special race trains will NOT stop at Kaiwarra or Ngahauranga, nor between LowerHutt and Treteham. RETURN RACE TRAINS leave Trentham for Wellington :-— March 16 —At intervals from 4.57 p.m. to 5.33 p.m. March 18—At intervals from 5.4 p.m. to 5.45 p.m. Additional ordinary trains, stopping where required, leave Trentham 4.33 p.m., each day. 5.40 (Saturday), 5.59 p.m. (Monday). Race trains leaving Trentham 5.33 p.m. Saturday and 5.45 p.m. Monday wijl stop only at Lower Hutt and Petone. MASTERTON-TRENTHAM. Train for Trentham leaves Masterton 7.33 a.m., Carterton 7.56, Greytown S.O, Featherston 8.29, Trentham arrive 10.53 а. Usual 4.15 p.m. Wellington-Mastertcn train stops at Trentham and leaves Trentham 5.27 p.m., Masterton arr. 8.35 p.m. On March 16 and 18 — Usual 10.13 a.m. Wellington-Upper Hutt train will NOT run.
