High praise for the officials of his department was given by the PostmasterGeneral (Hon. J. B. Donald), in speaking to a deputation. “During my tour from Auckland down to the South Island,” he said,‘“l have met a large number of men connected with the postal service. I must say that I was very pleased with the calibre of the men, and think that New Zealand is to be congratulated upon its class of official.”
