BAY OF ISLANDS BY-ELECTION
POLL TO BE HELD NEXT MONTH The Minister in charge of the Electoral Department (Hon. W. A. Veitch) announced yesterday that the by-elec-tion in the Bay of Islands electorate, occasioned by the finding of the Election Court, which declared that there was sufficient evidence to show that Mr. H. M. Rushworth was not duly elected at the general election in November, will be held on Wednesday, April 10. The writ will be issued next Friday, and will be returnable on March 17. Nominations will (hose on March 27.
