FLYING BOATS FOR PERSIAN GULF
SEEKING EXPERIENCE. (British OlBcitii Wireless.) Rugby, 'March 2. The throe Royal Air Force Southampton flying boats which left England on Thursday arrived yesterday at Marseilles, and are due to-day to make a further stage to Naples on their journey to Basra, where they will be employed in the Persian Gulf with the object of gaining experience of the utility of this type of aircraft under the climatic and other conditions obtaining in that area.
