COLLISION IN MID-AIR
FLYING OFFICER KILLED (British Official Wireless.’ Rugby, March L Flying Officer Sealy Allin was killed in a mid-air collision' between his aeroplane and another at Kenley. The pilot of the other machine. Flight-Ser-geant Freeman, jumped clear with his parachute and landed safely on the roof of one of the hangars at Jiie aerodrome. Flying Officer Sealy Allin was found crushed in the wreckage of his machine. The aeroplanes were carrying out formation exercises over the aerodrome at a height of about 3000 ft. when the collision occurred. An hour after the disaster Sergeant Freeman took the air again in another aeroplane.
