SUICIDE PREVENTED

(Australian Press Association.) Sydney, February 28. Within fifteen minutes last night Fire Station Officer Menzies, assisted by a policeman and the South Head signalman, prevented two men from throwing themselves over the Gap at Watson’s Bay. One man, maddened by drink, was within a few yards of the cliffs when Menzies grabbed and managed to hold him until the policeman arrived. The other man told a story of an unhappy Ufa.
