$ — SWIFTS CLUB REPORT, The Swifts Association Football Club is one of the oldest In New Zealand, and in its thirty-fifth annual report records a successful season, occupying high positions In the competitions, although winning no championships. The club has a credit balance of over £l5. The senior team finished fourth, and the junior team reached the final ot the cup competition. Medals were presented to the following players:— Fifth grade: Best back, E. Grylls; best forward, A. Macgregor; most Improved player, C. Turner. Sixth grade: Best back. E. Trail; best forward. N. Grylls; most improved player, R. Webb. Thanks are expressed to Messrs. Ma .ver and Sanders for medals, and to Mr. Holcroft for presenting a cup for the most improved player in the sixth grade. Mr. A. Longbottom was congratulated upon his selection to represent Wellington in the matches against Auckland. This was the club's first shield representative the wax.
