RESISTING ARREST
In the Magistrate’s Court, before Dlr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., yesterday, Charles Oakley Clarke,' aged 34, pleaded guilty to chsirges of drunkenness, assault, resisting a constable while in the lawful execution of his duty, and with using obscene language. For resisting arrest, he was lined £5. in default one month s imprisonment, for using obscene language, he was ordered to come up for sentence within 12 months if called upon, and on tiie other two charges he wns convicted and discharged.
