WELLINGTON ASSOCIATION TOURNAMENT YESTERDAY’S RESULTS Piny was continued in glorious weather yesterday in the Wellington Croquet Association's tournament, and the chib pairs, and handicap doubles, were concluded. In the latter, the Featherston representatives were victorious, defeating the Eastbourne Club (Mesdames Robinson and Heenan) by three points. Tn the club pair Woburn was represented by Mesdames Johnson and Walker, who had as opponents Mesdames Manton and Mitchell, of the 'Wellington Club. The former were successful, nnd will hold Lady Luke's Rose Bowl. Results: — Handicap Singles, B Grade. Final. Mrs. Taylor beat Mrs. Mitchell, 26— 18. Club Pairs. Mesdames Manton and Mitchell beat Mesdames Heenan and Robinson, 26—12. Final. —Mesdames Johnson and Walker beat Mesdames Manton and Mitchell, 26—14. Open Championship. First life: Mrs. Bock beat Mrs. Caldow, 26—24; Mi’s. Wickens beat Mrs. Boocock, 26—10; Mrs. Caldow retired to Mrs. Booeock. 24 all.
Ladies’ Championship. Mrs. Moeller beat Airs. Walker, 26— 18; Airs. Johnson beat Airs. Bush,222;6 —2; Airs. Johnson bent Airs. Walker, 26—14. To-day’s Draw.' The draw for to-day's play is as follows : — Alesdatnes Taylor and Roundhill v. Alesdatnes Walker and Hughes; Alesdames Alouat and Greig v. Alesdatnes Hughes and Cook; Alesdatnes Kelly and Cameron v. Mesdames Warner and Alonks; Airs. Alcllroy v. Airs. Boocock; Airs. Johnson v. Air. Boocock; Airs. Watson, v. Mrs. Wickens. The headmaster of the St. Clair (Dun edin) School for the first time in his experience had occasion to enrol triplets when the classes commenced again this year.
