COAL PRODUCTION
FALLING OFF IN NEW SOUTH WALES LOSS OF OVERSEAS MARKETS (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Sydney, January 26. The State’s coal production decreased during the past two years by 1,700,0.00 tons per annum. Many of. the principal overseas markets have practically been lost. The output per. man has decreased 20 per cent, since the first year of the war. The coal owners will meet next week with a view to taking definite action to rehabilitate the industry.
