FIRE AT WESTPORT
DAMAGE TO BUILDINGS AND STOCK. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Westport, January 27. A fire at 3 q.m. to-day did considerable damage to the buildings and stock of C. Phillips, taildr, and A. W. Henley, jeweller. Most of the' stock suffered severely' from water, the fire being confined chiefly to back portions of the premises. Henley’s stock was insured for £2OOO in the Victoria Insurance Company, and the .building for £6OO in the Yorkshire Company. The insurances on Phillips's were £2OO on the building and £2OO op the stock, and £4O on the machinery. : -
