FATAL FALL DOWN HOLD

ACCIDENT ON TAMAROA Dominion Special Service. Auckland, January 11. Fulling 40ft. into tlie hold of the Shaw-Savill steamer Tamaroa at 3 o'clock this afternoon, a waterside worker. Jack Malley, aged about 70, received injuries from which he died a few minutes after the accident. He was immediately taken to the Auckland Hospital, but died on the journey. His injuries included a fracture of the skull and several ribs. Deceased had worked in tlie service of the SliawSavill Company for 45 years.
