Norman Hales (who has occupied i Important position on the American 'age for some years past), as the reit of an accident. No further inforation is to hand. ■Dr. Norman St. Clair Hales was the mngest son of the late Mr. W. H. ales, formerly Engineer-in-Chief to e Government of New Zealand.
