ARMIES OF BRITISH UNEMPLOYED

PREPARING TO MARCH ON LONDON ORGANISED BY COMMUNISTS (United Service.) (Rec. January 11, 11.35 p.m.) i London, January 11. Two armies of unefnployed are preparing to march to London. Both are organised by Communists. They will face strong opposition by the Trades Union Council. The first will start from the Scottish coalfields next week, .while the South Wales contingent of miners sets out a week later.

The marchers will not be confined to miners. Other unemployed have been invited to join en route. The demonstration is aimed not only against the Government but the Trades Union Council and the Parliamentary Labour Party, with which the Communists are at bitter loggerheads. The Trades Union Council is condemning what its describes as the exploitation of unemployed for the benefit of Communists for political ends. It recalls that when South Wales miners marched to London a year ago there was much useless suffering and misery inflicted. It predicts that the experience will be repeated without assisting them in the slightest.
