INSPECTOR OF NATIVE SCHOOLS
MR. D. G. BALL APPOINTED
Mr. D. G. Ball, LL.B., has been appointed Inspector of Native schools under the Department of Education. Mr. Ball, who was born at Wanganui, has been for the past two years an organising teacher under the Taranaki Education Board, prior to which he was for seven years headmaster of the Grovetown School, Martinborough, tinder the Wellington Education Board. Mr. Ball served throughout the war, was twice mentioned in dispatches, and won his commission on the field. He was in the employ of the Wellington Board when war was declared.
Mr. Ball will take up his residence in Wellington.
