KIRK-WINDEYER CUP. The secretary of the New Zealand Golf Association lias received advice from Australia that it has been decided to play the Kirk-Windeyer matches at Melbourne on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, August 8,9, and 10, immediately following the Victoria amateur State championships. The KirkWindeyer Cup competition was in-' auguTated two years ago when New Zealand took the trophy by defeating Australia at Sydney, but the Australians came over last season and recovered the cup by defeating the New Zealand team at Miramar.
