SITUATION EASIER PARLIAMENT PASSES BUDGET CRISIS MAY BE AVERTED (United Press Association.— By Elactrle Telegraph—Copyright.). Australian Press Association. (Rec. January 1, 5.5 p.m.) Paris, December 31. The political situation is easier, owing to the Chamber of Deputies, by 450 votes to 10 aud the Senate by 274 votes to 16 passing the Budget and ending the session. There is a likelihood that the Cabinet crisis will thus be eliminated, though M. Poincare is expected to make a big speech explaining the Cabinet policy on January 10, when he will demand a vote of confidence.
