LEVIN MEETING HELD UNDER DIFFICULTIES Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North, January 1. Heavy rain and a treacherous course did not aid the fourth annual race meeting of the Otaki Motor-cycle Club, held at Levin Racecourse to-day. Although conditions were bad, the meeting was held in full, the programme, handicaps, and distances being freely altered to suit conditions. The meeting was not particularly successful, the adverse conditions being against very good performances. The first four races were held in rain, and were not at all successful. The last two were the best on the whole programme. In the Consolation Handicap, D. Mauagli and T. Morgan raced in changing positions for a good distance, and the fastest lap (57 2-ssec.), was made in this race. Novice Handicap, six miles.—Blair (—), 1; J. C. Gower (5-6 Bitzof), 2; Allen ( —). 3. Ten miles. —Kliminster (22 A.J.S.), 1; Bower ( —), 2; A. Harker (2J Zenith), 3. No time was taken. Rangiuru Lightweight Handicap. Five miles. —A. Harker (2J Zenith), 1; L. Southward (22 A.J.S.), 2. The placed riders were the only finishers. Won by two laps. No time was taken. Otaki Cup Blue (Riband Race (open). Twelve miles.—R. Ranby (3j Indian), 1; T. Morgan (22 Harley-Davidson). 2; J.
