ELECTRIC LIGHT SPORTS MEETING
A full programme of cycling and athletic events will be presented at the Basin Reserve to-night. Large entries have been received, including those of many leading competitors. A feature of the meeting will be' the continuation of the series of races for the nll-rounil cycling championship. By way of preliminary to the mile race a challenge will be decided. Foote meeting Butler with a view to gaining a place in the eight riders contesting the big event, in which very keen competition is expected. Right through the meeting there should be keen contests.
