Miss D. Junker is visiting the South Island.
Miss E. Tankersley lias returned to her home in Masterton after spending a year on tlie staff of the I’ahiatua District High School.
Miss Ruth White, Tane, has been visiting Wanganui.
Miss Mary Tripe, Eketahuna, Is visiting Wellington. Miss Mollie Wood has returned from a visit to Wanganui. Mrs. Guy Lewis lias been visiting Wellington. A jolly little party was held at Mrs. Groeott's home on Wednesday in honour of Miss Edna Tankersley, who has been a valuable member of the Presbyterian Church Choir. Her fellow choir members presented her with a xylonite brush and comb. Among fhose present were: Mesdanies Grocott. Richardson, Fairweather, T’ortoous, Walls, and the Misses ‘Grocott, Thomson. Etz. Lawton, and Brown. Miss Fancourt. Wellington, has been the guest of Mrs. Neirns. , Mrs. 11. Murray-Aynucsley, Christchurch, is tlie guest of Sirs. Turner. Eketahuna.
