WELLINGTON CITY LOANS
AUTHORITY FOR OVER £250,000
Authority for the raising of loans totalling £288,300 was granted the Wellington City Council by Orders-in-Council issued last night. The money is required for redemptive purposes, as follows:—
Tramways, paving and Town Hall, 1904 Repayment Loan, 1929, £30,000. Wellington City Improvements and Melrose Streets and Tramways Loans Repayment Loan, 1929, £94,000. Wainui Waterworks lBBO Repayment Loan, 1029, £130,000. Waterworks, Destructo and Lighting Loan 1904 Repayment Loan, 1929, £134,300.
