Mr. J. Huggins, Palmerston North inspector of the Health Department, is nt present spending bis annual leave in Dunedin.
Air. A. F. Kaufmann, general secretary of the Palmerston North Y.AI.C.A., has been notified of his success in gaining the Fellowship Diploma of the Philosophical Society of England. His thesis “Plato and His Philosophy” was very favourably reported upon by the examiners.
Hon. O. Blyth, of London, who has been touring New Zealand, has been the guest of Air. and Mrs. Ij. A. Abraham, of Palmerston North, and left yesterday for Well ington.
