SATISFACTORY TEST (“Times” Cables.) (Rec. December 18, 9.20 p.m.) London, December 17. “The Times” New York correspondent says that to-day’s issue of the Danville, Illinois, “Commercial News” comprised 116 pages of printed paper manufactured from cornstalks. The edition included 48 pages of rotagravure. The paper is said to be equal in every respect to woodpulp and actually stronger. It lias a good white colour and took ink well. According to the manufacturers it can be produced more cheaply than woodpulp. ■
