Counsel for the defence in a motor collision case, heard in the Invercargill Magistrate's Court, was endeavouring to fix the exact time when a witness journeyed to the scene of the accident, and as the witness had said he had left his breakfast to go out, suggested that this would fix the time (states the “Southland Times”). “Oh. no,” said witness, “our brreikfast ou a Sunday morning is a movable feast.”
