CHRISTMAS MAILS
HEAVY OVERSEAS ARRIVALS
Two very heavy Christmas mails from overseas are being handled by the Post Office at Wellington this week. The Makura, which arrived yesterday morning from Sau Francisco, brought 2200 sacks and hampers of letter and parcel mail. The Maunganui, which is due this morning from Sydney, has 1636 bags and hampers for Wellington. The Marama, due at Auckland this morning from Sydney, also has a very large mail for New Zealand.
