GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS VISIT SAMOA

WILL REPORT TO PRIME MINISTER

The secretary of the External Affairs Department (Mr. C. A. Berensen), who, for some time, has been viewing the activities of the Administration of the Mandated Territory of Western Samoa, will return to Auckland by the Tofua on December 27. The Public Service Commissioner (Mr, P. Verschaffelt) and the Assistant Secretary of the Treasury (Mr. A, P. Park), who were associated with Mr. Berensen on the tour, are returning to New Zealand via Sydney. It is expected that the results of the visit will be incorporated in a report to the Prime Minister.
