One facetious suggestion made at last night’s meeting of the Lower Hutt Borough Council when the question of naming a street was under discussion was that one end of the street be called “Codlln” and the other end “Moth.”
The New Hutt bridge has been completed with the exception of the deck paving and fitting of lamps. The new street has been formed and graded, and a start made on the consolidation. The Minister of Health will visit Lower Hutt to-day, in connection with health matters.
