Moderate southerly winds north of Cook Strait; elsewhere variable, but M d noVtherltes prevailing and later becoming general and freshening south of New Plymouth and Castlepoint. Seas generally smooth to moderate in New Zealand waters. Light to moderate and variable winds, but northerlies prevailing soon and freshening in the eastern Tasman Sea. Generally moderate seas, but rising soon in the southern Portion. Weather fair to fine, but becoming cloudy soon on the M est Coast of the South Island with some showers. Mild temperatures.
