LICENSING IN ASHBURTON
PLANS FOR HOTEL. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, December 15. A well-known Christchurch lawyer says that Ashburton is definitely entitled to licensed houses. If it is not, the Mid-Canterbury poll must have been vqltl. An application will be made next year for a license for the Somerset Hotel, and the plans are now out for its re-erection as a three-storied structure with bar accommodation.
