GREAT LEAD BY SMITH IN MATCH AGAINST LINDRUM (Australian Press Assn.—United Service.) (Rec. December 14, 7.45 p.m.) London, December 14. In the billiards match between Smith and F. Lindrum, the former’s score (in play), is 20,570, including breaks of 925, 449. and 503 unfinished. Lindrum’s score is 9098, including a break of 302. ANOTHER WORLD’S RECORD BY W. LINDRUM Waiter Lindrum. the noted Australian billiard player, concluded his exhibition game with Angus Dunean at the Albert Billiard Parlour last night. The Australian was In brilliant form at the evening session, putting up another world’s record by scoring over 500 three times in the one session, the breaks being 506, 740, and 053. At the conclusion of the match, Lindrum thanked Mr. J. McDonald for permitting him to appear at the Albert Billiard Parlour, and paid a high tribute to the Billiards. Ltd., tables upon which he had played In New Zealand.
