PETONE CARNIVAL
The Petone Carnival, which will b« held on the sea front, will be one of the big holiday attractions for Wellington and suburbs this year. The carnival committee have procured some very fine attractions, including a three-horse abreast merry-go-round, 40-seater chairoplane, and the silodromc. The latest side-shows and attractions have also been procured. A special attraction for Boxing Day will be the motor-boat races, when an attempt will be made to lower the speed record for these boats. There will be the rowing races, canoe races, and a greasy pole competition.
