REPORTS PRESENTED. Dominion Special Service. Auckland, November 25. At the Presbyterian General Assembly reference to the retirement of Professor ilewitson was made in the report of the Knox College Council. The masters’ report stated that during the year an assistant master and 108 students had been in residence. The college had more applications than it could grant. The fire insurance report said that in August last insurances were in force totalling £832,679, an increase of £6(5,866 for the year. The delegates were taken for a motor drive yesterday afternoon. HEADMASTER OF KNOX COLLEGE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, November 24. Dr. E. N. Herrington, of Dunedin, was elected by an absolute majority of the Presbyterian General Assembly to the headmastership of Knox College. BROADCAST TO-NIGHT. By Telegraph.—-Press Association. Auckland, November 25. Special services were held in the Presbyterian Churches to-day, the Moderator of the General Assembly and other prominent visitors preaching. The large missionary demonstration to-morrow evening will be broadcast by IYA, Auckland.
