TO-DAY’S WEATHER FORECAST.

The cyclone in the Tasman Sea has intensified considerably, and is moving towards the Dominion. Moderate to strong northerly winds, reaching gale force in parts of tne North Island. Seas generally smooth to moderate, but rising later In the north. Strong north to north-west winds to gales in the north-eastern Tasman Sea, and strong north-east to south-east in the south-east portion, with rough seas. Weather cloudy and gradually becoming unsettled, with rain developing at first i/the north, then later extending to other districts; some heavy falls, likely in the North Island; mild temperatures.
