SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
Thursday's entertainment at the Sailors’ Friend Society took a new form, when wonderful pictures were projected on to the screen by Messrs. C. W. and A. J. Bland. The pictures were lent by Mr. Messenger, of the Publicity Department, and they were as follow: — “Grain of Golden West,” ‘Felix the Cat,” “The Movies,” “Fool’s Luck.” Messrs. Stanley and Percival Archer were at the piano, and their playing added much to the pleasure of the guests. Mrs. L. Nelson sent refreshments that were dispensed in an interval. The votes of thanks to Messrs. Messenger, Bland, Archer and others were carried with applause.
