AUCTIONS CENTRAL HUTT BULLETIN “THE CENTRAL HUTT BULLETIN” A is a chronicle of the phenomenal development of the once sleepy hollow called Haywards, which is now better known as Manor Park. In three years the place, under Mr. George’s initiative, has made a phenomenal advance, and pessimists who prophesied failure when the first auction sale ever held in the district was held now admit they were mistaken. Some of the fortunate purchasers at the first sale have already sold their holdings at a handsome profit on the price they paid. In one or two instances they doubled their money. That is the reason why “The Bulletin” will .be so eagerly scanned by them and others. During the past week a track has been cut up Beulah Hill, which has been cleared of bush sufficiently to reveal one of the finest views of the Valley to be seen anywhere. This lot is to be sold by auction on Saturday next at 2 p.m. on the ground itself. To-day (Saturday), which is view day for the estate, Blue Taxi-cabs will meet the 1.20 train from town at Haywards Railway Station to take intending purchasers to the spot. The recent announcement that seven farms, not exceeding 50 acres each, were to be sold by auction next week has caused a stir. We. are authorised by the auctioneers of the Manor Park Estate to state that the Blue Taxis which will meet the 1.20 train to-day at the. Haywards Railway Station to take visitors to view the "‘Beulah Hill” Sections will take all wishing to view these farms up to the top of the road at the corner of thp Pahautanui and Mount Cecil Roads, from which a view of most of the farms may be obtained. Visitors ■wishing to avail themselves of the Blue Taxi-cabs should inform the Auctioneers, Messrs. Dalgety and Co. Ltd or Messrs Eric Johnston and Co., of their desne to be driven to see these farms, otherwise they, may find that sufficient taxis have not been provided.
