The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Co. report that the Karamea will leave Wellington next Wednesday for Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland to fill up. She will now sail from Auckland on December 11 for London, via Panama. BOSWORTH FROM TEXAS. The Bosworth .which arrived at Auckland on Wednesday from Port Arthur (Texas) sailed from Newcastle-on-Tyne on September 13, and proceeded to Port Arthur in ballast. After loading her present cargo she sailed from Port Arthur on October 13. The weather was generally fair throughout. Ten days before the vessel reached Auckland two seamen, Coughlan and M. Colby, fell down the bunker hatch and were severely Injured. On Wednesday they were sent to the Auckland Hospital. The crew totals 47 all told, comprising 23 Europeans and 24 Chinese stokers. Captain J. Stewart is in command, and the following are the officers: —Chief, Mr. W. Anders: second, Mr. A. Hippiewhite; third, Mr. J. Scott; chief engineer, Mr. D. H. Brown; second, Mr. H. Dettmer; third, Mr. J. Fulton; fourth, Mr. J. Buchanan; fifth, Mr. J. Innes; wireless operator, Mr. J. Gerrish. The Bosworth is expected to sail today for Wellington and Australia to complete the discharge of her cargo. The George H. Scales Co. are the Wellington agents. THE HERTFORD. The Federal Company advise that the Hertford, which arrived at New Plymouth at 6.30 a.m. yesterday from Dunedin, will leave the Taranaki port on Tuesday afternoon for Wellington. She is due here on Wednesday morning for further loading, and will sail on December 1 for Napier, Tokomaru Bay, and Auckland. The Hertford is to sail from Auckland on December 13 for London, Avonmouth, Glasgow, and Liverpool. THE MATAROA. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company advise that their liner Mataroa, which is due at Auckland this morning from Timaru, is to leave the northern port next Wednesday for Wellington. The vessel Is due here next Friday to fill up. and will sail on December 3 for Southampton and London, via Panama. THE STRICKEN OLIVEBANK. Advice has been received that the Finnish four-masted barque Olivebank was to leave Melbourne last Tuesday in continuation of her voyage from Seychelles to Auckland. The vessel has a cargo of about 4000 tons of phosphates for Auckland. She put into Melbourne owing to all the crew suffering from beriberi. The Olivebank is expected to arrive at Auckland in about two weeks. LIGHT OUT OF ACTION. The Marine Department advises that the automatic light on Flat Rock, near Auckland, Is out of action. It will be relighted as soon as possible. ULIMAROA LEAVES SYDNEY. Cabled advice has been received by the Huddart-Parker Company that the Ulimaroa left Sydney at noon yesterday for Auckland. She is due there on Tuesday morning. MAORI’S BERTH. The Union Company advise that on her arrival from Lyttelton this morning the ferry steamer Maori will berth at No. 1 south Queen’s Wharf, instead of at her usual berth at the Ferry Wharf. The Maori will also sail from the Queen's Wharf at 7.45 p.m. to-night for Lyttelton. THE POOLTA. The Union Company report that the Poolta is to leave Clarence River on December 1 for Port Stephens and Newcastle to complete loading for Lyttelton. Wellington, Napier, and Greymouth. The vessel is due here about the second week in December. MANUKA AT MELBOURNE. Cabled new's has been received by the Union Convwny that the Manuka, "from Wellington, arrived at Melbourne at 0 a.m. on Thursday. The vessel is scheduled to leave again at 10 a.m. next Tuesday for Wellington direct and is due here on December 2. MESS-TABLE GOSSIP. The Tahiti has been recommissioned at Wellington, and is in temporary command of Captain A. T. Toten. His deck officers are—Chief, Mr. C. Sharpe; second, Mr. F. W. Young; third, Mr. A. J. The Wingatui is to leave here to-day for Auckland, and will return about the middle of next week to Wellington and southern ports. The Opihi is due here to-morrow from south, and will leave on Monday for Westport. The Waiplata, from Auckland, is due here to-morrow, and will leave on Monday for southern ports. The Kaituna Is now due here to-morrow from Greymouth and Westport. The Kurow Is expected to leave Dunedin to-day, via ports, for Wellington and Auckland.

The Kalmai Is due at Oreyraouth to-day to load for Miramar and Wellington.

The Make, from Napier and Gisborne, Is due here to-morrow, and will return on Tuesday to the same ports. The Breeze is to load at Dunedin on Tuesday for Wellington and Wanganui, and Is expected here next Friday. The Corinna, from southern ports, is now due here to-morrow, and will leave on Monday for Nelson and New Plymouth. From Wanganui, the Calm is due here to-morrow and will leave on Monday for southern ports. The Gale is now due here on Wednesday from south, and will go on to Wanganui.
