This week's issue of the “New Zealand Sporting and Dramatic Review” is charmingly illustrated. The photographs are particularly attractive, featuring a coloured supplement of “Peter Bingen,” winner of the New Zealand Trotting Cup. The centre pages display patrons on the lawn at the Canterbury Jockey Club’s spring meeting. The opening of tlie Auckland yachting season is the subject of a fine page of snaps showing the starts and finishes of tlie various events. Prominence is given to the Otahuhn Trotting Club’s gathering at Alexandra Park, and readers will be attracted to the vivid pictures of the contests at interesting stages. Recent events that have special pictorial treatment are laying founda-,-tion stone of the new wing of the Mater Hospital by Cardinal Ceretti, Auckland Interhouse Girls’ Sports carnival, and the Otago amateur sports carnival at Forbury Park.
