enormous sales since ELECTIONS (Australian Press Association.) New York, November 21. With a total of 6,165,000 shares sold to-day, the Stock Exchange completed an exhausting session, In which a break brought heavy losses to most big favourites. The ticker ran far behind the market as usual. In the effort to eliminate this difficulty the volumes of the sales will be omitted from the tape to-morrow. General Motors lostl 34 points, Montgomery Ward lost 12, and other Issues had similar drops. The Radio Corporation closed with a gain of one point in the final hour,, when terrific selling brought most prices down. The curb market broke all records for volume with a total of 2,214,600 shares, with the tape half an hour late. Up to last night Stock Exchange sales totalled 60,407,400 since the election. The sale of an exchange seat was arranged to-day at .525,000 dollars.
