PERSONNEL OF NEW MINISTRY Melbourne, November 22. following the resignation of the Bogan Labour Government after a defeat in the Legislative Assembly on a test no-confidence motion, Sir William McPherson has formed a Nationalist Ministry as follows ‘ Premier and Treasurer, Sir William McPherson; Chief Secretary and Minister of Health, Dr. Argyle; AttorneyGeneral, Mr. Macfarlane; Minister of Lands and Water Supply, Mr. Angus; Minister of Agriculture and Migration, Mr. Pennington; Minister of Kailways, Electricity, and Labour, Mr. Groves; Minister of Works, Mr. Chandler, M.L.C.; Minister of Education, Mr. Cohen, M.L.C.; and four honorary Ministers, Messrs. McGregor, Menzies,Morley, and Cuthbertson, M.L.C.’s. Although Sir William McPherson is assured of the support of all nonLabour parties, the belief is general that his Ministry will be short-lived.
