; DOMINION EXPORTS INCREASE i ! STATISTICAL POSITION • ANALYSED i The promise of a good season is borne out by the large increases in the exports of dairy produce for the first three months of this season compared with the corresponding quarter of last year. The I increases are shown in the following table

October Shipments. The following shipments were made from New Zealand by vessels sailing finally in October: —• BUTTER (BOXES).

Of the butter shipped in October to the United Kingdom, the position at time of shipment was that 78.45 per cent, was consigned and 21.55 per cent, sold f.o.b.

Of the cheese shipped in October to the United Kingdom the position at time of shipment was that 78.55 per cent, was consigned and 21.45 per cent, sold f.o.b.

Burins’ October, 1928, the re-exports of butter from the United Kingdom were as follow:— To Germany, 1175 cwt.; Belgium, 093 cwt,; France, 1913 cwt.; Irish Free State, 203 cwt.; Netherlands, 472 cwt.; United States, 50cwt.; other countries, 1647 cwt. Total, 6053 cwt; total for 1027, 771 cwt. |
