BYRD EXPEDITION
ELEANOR BOLLING LEAVING DUNEDIN TO-DAY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, November 20. It is doubtful if the Eleanor Bolling will get away till to-morrow morning. After loading the aeroplanes at Wellington she will leave to pick up the sailer City of New York and tow her to Dunedin. Captain Brown, of the Eleanor Bolling, and Captain Melville, of the City of New York, .hold special appointments as postal clerks for U.S.A, in the Antarctic. A special stamp, 4 inches by 2 inches, will accompany the New Zealand stamp. It shows a ship caught in the ice with aeroplanes flying over her. Captain McKinlay, aerial surveyor, will visit Christchurch, to arrange with the Wigram aerodrome for a fligh: over the Canterbury Plains to test his survey cameras.
