PLIMMERTON GAMES
During the week-end, ideal weather prevailed nt Plimmerton, and bowlers, tennis, and croquet players mustered in full force on the local greens, and some interesting games were witnessed. In the bowling competition, the holders of the Sollitt Gold Badges, Messrs. F. Barlow, G. Neale, W. Amon, and E. Puckering (skip) were again victorious against Messrs. J. Walker, A. Edginton, S. Martin, and R„ Sollitt (skip), the scores being Pickering SO, Sollitt 9. Quite a number of colts have joined up this season, and are progressing very favourably. The green has improved wonderfully from Inst season, and quite a busy season is anticipated. The tennis courts are being well patronised, and are considered the best hard courts in the North Island. ___________
