A meeting of the Wellington Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association was held on Alonday, Air. P. Coira presiding. The secretary is to advise all clubs ol the list of defaulters. Mr. P. Coira was appointed sole selector for the polo team. . Air. AV. Gerne was appointed staiter for tlie coming season. In the temporary absence ot Air. w. G Alorpeth, Alessrs. F. Einpson and AV. Gerrie were appointed joint handicappers. It was decided to accept the New Zealand Council’s offer for two appearances of J. AVeismuller at a guarantee of iia subject to the dates being December la and 17 P rice for admission tor the Te Aro baths carnival was fixed at 2s. 6d adults. Is. children. The price for the Riddiford baths carnival was fixed at 2s. adults. Is. children. The secretary was instructed to write to the Thorndon Chib asking the position re outstanding trophy orders. The secretary was instructed to write the New Zealand Council asking if the rule that the final ef the 100 National Championship be limited to four starters, could be waived with regard to the meeting at Te Aro in February as the size of the bath permitted of more starters. The secretary was instructed to write to the City Council asking the position with reference to site, plans, and finance of the tepid baths. The Hutt Club is to be offered a meeting on Thursday, February 7. 19-9. on the basis of 60 per cent.—lo per cent.
