DEEP-SEA FISHING

ADVANCE GUARD OF ZANE GREY’S PARTY The advance guard of Mr. Zane Grey’s deep-sea fishing party, Messrs. Romer Grey and Robert Carney, arrived by tlie Maunganul from San Francisco yesterday. They informed a “Dominion” reporter that Mr. Zane Grey, who has been fishing nt Papeete for some months, will arrive by the next steamer from America.

Messrs. Romer Grey and Carney stated that they intended to spend some weeks fishing for salmon and trout, in the South Island, and will reach Mercury Bay early in January. Mr. Romer Grey said he intended to make a photographic record of southern lake and river fishing.
