LINDRUM-McCONACHY MATCH ABANDONED NEW ZEALANDER ILL By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, November 5. The billiards match between Walter Lindrum and Clark McConachy. has been abandoned owing to the illness of McConachy, who is now' a patient in Christchurch hospital. Lindrum began a match to-day, of 4000-up with W. Smith, a local player, conceding 2000. The scores al the end of the day were Lindrum (in play) 2000' Smith 2298. Lindruni’s breaks included 481, 298, 145, 268, 251, ,157.
