NEW ENGLISH BANK NOTES
TO BE ISSUED THIS MONTH (Australian Press Association.) (Rec. November 4, 5.5 p.m.) London, November 3.
It is announced tliat the new Bank of England £1 and ten shilling notes will come into use in Britain from November 12, gradually replacing the Treasury notes. It is understood the pound note is green and tlie ten shilling note red.
