THE attention of Anglers is drawn to A Regulation 4 (a) of the Taupo Trout Fishing Regulations, 1928, relative to fish taken bearing tags.-,-A large number of fish have been tagged by the Department of Internal Affairs, and the Department desires the cooperation of anglers in noting particulars of tagged fish caught by them. The tags, which are of metal, are about a quarter of an‘inch long, and have the letters I.A/ stamped on one side and a number on tlie Cither, < and are attached to the. rpar epd.of the dorsal fin close to the fish-’s.-Lack. The. Department is issuing printed cards to anglqrs in order to assist them-in noting the required particulars. The cards, together with the envelopes, may be obtained from any Ranger of the Department, or any . person authorised to issue liceiises in the Taupo District. On entering the particulars required, the card is to be handed to any Ranger of the Department, or person authorised to issue licenses in the Taupo District, for dispatch to the Conservator of Fish and Game, Rotorua.
